On 11/30/23 my buddy and I went to see a quadruple feature set at the Cafe Colonial in Sac, and let me start this off by saying- We had a GREAT time. (Also, get used to me writing about the Colonial, the venues are cheap and the music is good.)
This show in particular was the whole reason I started this blog-
As bands were coming off the stage, changing sets, getting ready-- yada yada- whatever-
I realized there were like- two photgraphers tops- (over the course of the three and a half hour show)- I didn't notice anyone taking statements from the bands- or- like, at *least*- taking notes.
It occurred to me that it might be cool to have someone write about this- have *actual* editorials for *actually* good bands that are just straight up underexposed because they're starting their grind to the top- or wherever they'd like to be.
So here I am! the dipshit savior here to write about people that I don't know!
I am an objective critic, and only wish to provide bands with more media about them. Everything I express is ulitmately personal opinion and not ever meant to offend.
Pull me down! Drag me in response! Shit on my critiques! Anything! Let's engage!
